Integrated within the GENESIS project (https://www.projectgenesis-ist.com/) and installed on the terrace next to the outdoor amphitheatre of the Civil Engineering Pavilion, these are test trays for extensive green roofs in a Mediterranean climate. The trials address their hydrological and thermal performance, as well as the incorporation of construction and demolition waste into technical substrates and the resulting effects on vegetation development.
